Production
High-tech sawmill
At our sawmill in Alfta, we process forest raw materials from Hälsingland into high-quality wood products for both Swedish and international markets. Production amounts to just over 80,000 m³ of sawn wood products per year and is based on an efficient and flexible process adapted to customer-specific needs.
The raw material is purchased locally from suppliers in the region, many with long-term partnerships with us. Hälsingland is one of Sweden's most well-regarded raw material districts, which gives us access to timber of high and consistent quality. The main raw material consists of saw logs, so-called Nordanåkubb, which we ourselves introduced to the timber market in the area.
The production includes sawn products in pine and spruce, mainly in short lengths. Our standard dimensions range from 32×75 up to 47×175, in lengths of 3.0, 2.7 and 2.4 meters. Sideboards are produced in dimensions 16x75, 19×75/100 and 22×75/100/125.

Through a modern and efficient production process, we can combine high capacity with flexibility and careful quality control. Our focus is on delivering products with consistent quality, good precision and high delivery reliability.
An important part of production is also to utilize the entire raw material. By-products such as chips and shavings are further used in the pulp industry and as an energy raw material, which contributes to the resource-efficient use of the forest.
